Biography
The history of AmethistA begins in March 2004 by an idea of the vocalist Æretica (ex-Dismal) ed Alexandros, Keys, from Highlord. Soon join the project drummer Luca T-1000, also with Highlord, and bassist Frater Alchemoth Katharian. The line-up is complete when Victor Lai, guitars, (ex-S.D.A.) joins the band.Their first work is developed in less than a solar year thanks to perfect interaction between every member. Their music material embraces darkest black metal sound but moving through gothic and ethereal orcestrations. On March 25 '05 AmethistA strike the stage of "BARRUMBA" a music club in Turin as openers for Ancient. So they record in July '05 their first promo CD et "Dracma Studios", featuring two tracks.
In Semptember 2005 the band entered at Music Lab Studios to record the first full-lenght, "Realitale" featuring seven tracks. The work make sure AmethistA' presence at Black Celtic Summit,but Luca left the band due his personal project and he's replaced by Carlos, ex Skylark drummer. The Black Celtic Summit is a great success for AmethistA, and after that the band obtained a deal with Masterpiece Distribution for "Realitale" promotion! After that, the band play another great show as opener of Dismember in Decemeber at Faster Club, Torino. On february 2006 another great new! AmethistA signed with Necrotorture Promotion, one of the bes well known italian booking agency for extreme music! Now the band is waiting for "Realitale" realease. It will be on sale on March 2006
